John Parten has been a managing editor of ROI Publications/Ramblings Press in South Holland IL.  At the University, he is managing editor of Prototype University Publications.  PUP Press publishes the works of students and staff exclusively.

Mr. Parten received a Bachelor’s Degree in 1990 from Eastern Illinois University.  His Major was Botany/Zoology with a Minor is Safety and Driver Education, and has taught in the Public-School System most of his career.

 

He currently received a master’s degree in Special Education at Grand Canyon University and is eligible for several Honorary Doctorates from his published dissertations while employed at University.

 

In 2010, Mr. Parten left the public school for the private sector.  Currently, he is Chancellor of Prototype University.  He has now stepped back from the rigorous responsibilities of Management and taken the position of Student Acquisitions which offers him more opportunities in changing lives.

 

Today Mr. Parten can be found wandering the countryside looking for talent.  Maybe you will come across him in his travels and apply for a fellowship.  It wouldn’t surprise us at all.

 

Mr. Parten resides in South Holland with his wife and son.
